Sustainably generated electricity is increasingly replacing energy from fossil sources. We are building the connections that bring electricity to its destination.
Electricity generated from renewable sources such as sun and wind is widely regarded as an important alternative to fossil fuel energy. Electrification' is therefore one of the pillars of the energy transition.
To ensure that this runs smoothly, the current electricity grid needs to be strengthened and expanded. This is because the way in which we generate and supply electricity to the grid is changing a great deal, but consumption is also changing. Just think of the impact of the growth in the number of electric cars and their charging stations.
Accelerating the energy transition
A.Hak has the experience and the innovative power to accelerate the energy transition in the field of underground cables. We take care of the engineering, tracing, licensing processes, material supply, realization of cable routes and all related assembly and disassembly activities.
On 16 November 2018, A.Hak Electron demonstrated the soil displacement technique for laying cables in a single process.
New cable drum trailer
A reliable and extensive electricity grid is needed when electricity becomes more important in the energy mix. Our new cable drum trailer is therefore a worthwhile investment.
A.Hak has had experience in the design, construction and management of heat networks since 1980. From heat transport pipelines to the distribution networks that provide households and businesses with sustainable heating and hot water from residual heat.
A.Hak has constructed a substantial part of the Dutch gas infrastructure. We are now using this experience by constructing gas pipelines in different corners of the world, but also to lay heat pipelines and high-voltage cables in our own country.
Ports and industrial areas
Large industrial complexes and port areas with a lot of industry offer opportunities for large-scale CO2 reduction. A.Hak is the partner with the right knowledge.
A.Hak has more than fifty years of experience in the safe, reliable and sustainable construction of water pipelines. Both in the Netherlands and far beyond.
