A.Hak successfully completed a landfall on the Israeli coast using a 1,100-meter-long 56″ Direct Pipe bore. No safety issues, on time, and with a satisfied client.
Sustainable Landfall
Wilko Koop, former director of A.Hak International, praises our A.Hak drilling specialists, the subcontractors, and equipment manufacturer Herrenknecht. The team received congratulations from Herrenknecht via a Breakthrough Notice, which included the following message, among others: “We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this great success and look forward to our continued cooperation throughout the project.”

Direct Piping
This was our second successful bore on the Israeli coast in a short period. By using the Direct Pipe technique for landfalls, the often sensitive coastal area can be protected as much as possible. Further innovations ensure even safer operations. These special projects caught the attention of World Pipelines Magazine, which featured them in the May issue an article dedicated to it.
