A.Hak starts innovative low-emission hydrogen drilling at Koegras for Liander

A.Hak takes an important step in the energy transition

A special hydrogen drilling project in Koegras

On behalf of Liander, we will start the execution of this innovative directional drilling in week 43, contributing to the development of sustainable energy infrastructure.

The directional drilling has a length of 690 meters and a diameter of 40 cm. In this drilling, an HDPE casing pipe with a diameter of 250mm will be installed, in which a medium-voltage cable will be installed. This cable is essential for reliable energy supply in the project area.

A special aspect of this project is the use of an 80-ton electric drilling machine, powered by hydrogen-driven generators. This enables low-emission drilling execution and represents an important step towards sustainable implementation of underground infrastructure.

With the Koegras project, A.Hak once again underscores its role as a leader in the construction of future-proof infrastructure and its ambition to actively contribute to the energy transition – in close collaboration with clients such as Liander.
