We always ensure a working environment in which people work safely. Because the most important thing is that everyone returns home healthy and safe at the end of the day. We keep each other sharp, address each other on behavior, and take responsibility. Working safely also means: thinking ahead, recognizing risks, and continuously improving. It is in our culture, in our attitude, and in everything we do.

From ISO 9001 and VCA to customer and supplier certificates: we have everything in house. Our employees are also fully recognized according to BEI, VIAG, and VEWA, including the correct instructions. This way, we meet all technical and legal requirements and deliver projects that are solid as a house. Certified craftsmanship—that is the standard at A.Hak.

This certificate underscores our commitment to actively reducing greenhouse gas emissions and continuously improving our processes. We measure, monitor and report our performance, so that we contribute transparently and verifiably to a cleaner future.

Conscious Builders

A.Hak is affiliated with the Bewuste Bouwers (Conscious Builders) foundation. This means that we apply the Bewuste Bouwers code of conduct to our projects.

A.Hak is a conscious builder
We work in an environmentally conscious, sustainable, and safe manner. By applying the code of conduct to the projects, we give our professionals tools to work consciously on and around the construction site.

This takes into account:

the environment where people live, work, and recreate;
the environment when performing the work;
the fellow employees: good care for the construction site employees during the execution of the project.

The five pillars
The Bewuste Bouwers code of conduct consists of five pillars: Safe, Environment, Professionals, Environment, and Cared For. These five pillars do not stand alone; they are intertwined. Each pillar has the following guidelines: Measures and Awareness & Communication.
