The CO₂ Performance Ladder helps us do this in a structured and measurable way. We take measures on various fronts. First, we work with sustainable equipment, using electric vehicles and cleaner machines. We also choose smart project planning: fewer transport movements and more efficient earthworks. We feel the responsibility to contribute to a future-proof living environment and we do this by consciously investing in cleaner technologies, circular solutions and energy-efficient processes. Whether it involves laying underground infrastructure or executing complex projects: we continuously look for ways to reduce our ecological footprint. At A.Hak we believe that sustainable infrastructure starts with ourselves. That’s why we actively commit to reducing our CO₂ emissions — and we do this with the help of the CO₂ Performance Ladder. THE sustainability instrument in the Netherlands that encourages companies to actively reduce CO₂ in their own organization and in projects. The higher you are on the ladder, the more you do to combat climate change. A.Hak is certified at level 5, the highest level.

A.Hak focuses on the electrification of equipment and sustainable technologies. From smart innovations and sustainable conversion projects to strategic replacements and expansions: the investments each contribute to increasing our efficiency, sustainability and reliability on the work floor. One of the additions are our new mini excavators at the Equipment Service in Tricht. These compact powerhouses are intended for Infranet and are used for various excavation work.
