A.Hak takes part in Trans Adriatic Pipeline

Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG*, the international company responsible for the construction of the gas pipeline transporting Shah Deniz II gas via Greece, Albania, the Adriatic Sea and into Italy, has awarded three sections of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline to SPIECAPAG, a subsidiary of Entrepose (VINCI Construction).

The contracts consist of the onshore Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of a 185 km lot of 48’’ gas pipelines in Greece (between Kipoi and Kavala) and two lots totalling 215 km of 48’’gas pipelines in Albania (between Bilisht and Topoje). A.Hak International BV, Key Third Party, will be involved with SPIECAPAG in the construction of the Albanian sections.

With a total length of 878 km, TAP will connect to the Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) at the Greek- Turkish border, will cross Greece, Albania and the Adriatic Sea. Once completed, the TAP project will transport gas from the Shah Deniz II gas field in Azerbaijan into Europe.

The TAP shareholders are BP (20%), SOCAR (20%), SNAM S.p.A. (20%), FLUXYS (19%), ENAGAS (16%) and AXPO (5%).
