Sitech Services acquires MCL

19 March 2018

Sitech Services from Geleen acquired Mechanical Contracting Limburg (MCL) from A.Hak on March 15, 2018. No jobs were lost when the company was taken over. All employees of the Born factory continued their career with the new owner.

A.Hak says goodbye to MCL because the activities of the device builder no longer fit the core activity. A.Hak focuses on the construction of underground infrastructure and associated above-ground installations.

MCL is of strategic value for the Chemelot site in Geleen. Sitech Services supports companies in the process industry, the chemical industry and the energy sector with its services and technological innovations. Sitech is active on the Chemelot site and carries out maintenance and improvement projects for approximately 25 factories.

A.Hak Industrie Zuid
The Limburg branch of A.Hak Industrie remains part of A.Hak. Under the name A.Hak Industrie Zuid, activities are continued from the site at the Chemelot industrial estate in Geleen. A.Hak Industrie Zuid processes pipes of all types of materials and diameters and is particularly specialized in GRP pipe systems. In addition, A.Hak Industrie Zuid is continuously working together with USG on the Safety Efficiency Cooperation (SEC) safety platform to raise the safety standards at Chemelot.
